Amended 24 December 2022 (update URLs for websites)
Please read this Acceptable Usage Policy (“Acceptable Use Policy”, “AUP”, “policy”) carefully before purchasing services (“services”, “products”, “service”, “product”) sold and provided by Accuris Hosting (“us”, “we”, “our”). These services include and are not limited to:
Your access to and use of these services is conditional on your acceptance of and compliance with this policy. This policy applies to all our customers, visitors, users and others who access or use our services.
By accessing or using our services you agree to be bound by this AUP. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, then you may not access our services.
You may not use the services to publish content or engage in activity that is illegal under applicable law, that is harmful to others, or that would subject us to liability, including, without limitation, in connection with any of the following, each of which is prohibited under this AUP:
You are required and obligated to maintain all security on your subscribed services. All charges that are incurred due to the lack of client monitoring or security are considered the responsibility of the client.
You may not use the services in a manner that causes us or our assets to be “blacklisted” or “blocked”. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your services and/or client account as well as any access to our network and/or its physical infrastructure. Operating or reselling a service on behalf of, or in connection with, any persons or firms listed in the Spamhaus Register of Known Spam Operations database located at https://www.spamhaus.org/rokso/ will be considered a violation of this AUP.
You may host Tor Exit, Tor Relay and Tor Bridge nodes on our network. You must notify Accuris Hosting in advance if your intent is to host a Tor Exit node, allowing Accuris Hosting to properly triage any abuse complaints and avoid accidental suspension of your service hosting the Exit node.
If you are operating a Tor Exit node, you must block the following outbound ports:
If you do not block the ports listed above, Accuris Hosting reserves the right to suspend and/or terminate the applicable service if it is suspected/known to be operating an Exit node.
Tor Exit nodes which result in Abuse Reports will be forwarded to the Customer. The customer must respond to the Abuse Report and the associated Ticket notifying Accuris Hosting that the abuse complaint has been resolved and, if Accuris Hosting was not previously notified, that the service is hosting a Tor Exit node.
Failure to notify Accuris Hosting of your intent to operate a Tor Exit node on our network may result in the immediate suspension and/or termination of your services and/or client account, subject to applicable legislation at the time of action.
Your services and/or client account may be suspended or terminated entirely without notice upon any violation of this policy. Any violations may result in the immediate suspension or termination of your services and/or client account.
To report a violation of this policy, please contact us at [email protected].
We reserve the right to change this policy at any given time, of which you will be promptly updated. If you want to make sure that you are up to date with the latest changes, we advise you to frequently visit this page.
NOTE: Failure to comply with this AUP will result in your service(s) and/or client account being suspended, and in extreme cases, terminated.
